【游戲簡介】
暴風引擎最新作品，此引擎曾開發出海狗，加勒比海盜1和加勒比海盜2，國產網游航海世紀等知名游戲。
擺脫了加勒比海盜2（AoP 海盜3）眾多bug的形象，成為這個系列的頂尖作品。游戲采用相對獨立的系列任務系統，具有極高的自由度，個人能力系統也是采用非線性的嶄新升級系統，令人耳目一新。大量以歷史真實事件為背景的任務，真實傳奇人物參與的事件等待著玩家的參與。
貿易、走私、尋寶、追蹤、搶掠、攻城、各類靈異事件、多場史詩級戰役將玩家從一名小人物鍛煉成指揮一國海軍的海軍上將還是一名傳奇的大海盜全由玩家作主。
游戲中玩家將會遇到很多不同人物，除了大眾臉的副官還能招收到其他主角和一些特殊人物作為伙伴，任務中傳奇大海盜亨利摩根等將和主角一同行動。游戲中還增加了專門使用燧發槍的副官，刀劍短火槍不再是僅有的武器選擇。
