這是我自己配置好的TC

軟件界面Total Commander，簡稱TC，原名Windows Commander，功能強大的全能文件管理器。
　　Total COmmander 其實分為 2個版本，我們一般在網上找到的是 官方網站所出的。2009-09-09: Total Commander 7.50a正式版發布。
　　以上，而 在 www.tcup.pl 波蘭的一個網站上，給出的是改良版本。 改良版本，插件比 官方網站的要全，支持的軟件也多。下載
　　大小在 100MB左右，而官方的遠遠小得多。（其中有很多合並軟件，電影播放軟件等）而官方版本是以小推出的，插件自然不多，也就是，附帶的功能相對的少了許多。不過可以通過個人習慣加入自己電腦現有的程序到工具欄中。
　　這個給大家多一點選擇。
　　一、Total Commander本身是一個非常優秀的軟件，值得軟件愛好者關注。
　　二、了解Total Commander的發展歷史、功能定位、開發方向，可以讓用戶建立正確的軟件價值觀，從而有助於對其他軟件更深刻（而不是膚淺的）評價和認識。
　　三、Total Commander是一個會顯著提高文件操作效率的工具，而文件操作是應用計算機最基本的功夫，也是伴隨一生的操作。因此花一點時間學習，而會受益一世。
　　四、TC的入門有一定難度，掌握TC後，會讓自己在軟件應用方面的能力和悟性上一個台階。

　　支持隨意自定義的菜單、工具欄、快捷鍵，給您最大的自由，打造個性 TC。一般的文件操作，如搜索、復制、移動、改名、刪除等功能應有盡有，更有文件內容比較、同步文件夾、批量重命名文件、分割合並文件、創建/檢查文件校驗 (MD5/SFV) 等實用功能。內置 ZIP/TAR/GZ/TGZ 格式的壓縮/解壓功能，ZIP 格式還支持創建加密及自解包功能。此外，不僅可以直接打開(解開) ARJ/CAB/RAR/LZH/ACE/UC2 等壓縮包，配合插件或相應的壓縮程序，更可創建這些格式的壓縮包，就像創建和打開文件夾一樣簡單。而搜索功能，無論是文件還是內容，同樣支持在這些壓縮包中進行。

　　Total Commander原名Windows Commander，她是眾多骨灰級電腦的玩家的最愛，電腦愛好者隨身必備的瑞士軍刀，你可能已經無數次聽過她的大名，到底是何方神聖，有什麼神奇之處？且聽我一一道來……
[編輯本段]第一章　介紹篇
　　一、 什麼是Total Commander
　　Total Commander（原名Windows Commander）是強大的windows資源管理器終結者。以其使用方便、功能強大、設計體貼、穩定可靠征服了無數電腦老鳥。在接觸、了解這個完美的工具後，相信你會和我一樣有相見恨晚的感覺。
　　Total Commander的最大特點是由兩個列表窗口組成，這種設計避免了windows資源管理器目錄樹在文件操作的一系列弊端：
　　首先，資源管理器在選擇一個文件夾後，如果想先看一下另一個文件夾的內容，就必須先丟失當前的選擇，後邊要再對先前選擇進行操作（復制或移動）時又需要重新尋找上一次選擇的文件夾；其次，將一個文件夾在目錄樹一側移動或復制，如果和目的目錄相距較遠，是一件極為痛苦的事情——要按著鼠標把文件拖運好遠。而使用雙列表窗就不會有這些苦惱。
　　二、 超越資源管理器
　　讓我們來看看Total Commander比資源管理器聰明在哪裡：
　　1. 在資源管理器中移動或刪除文件，如果其中有一個文件不能移動或刪除將導致整個操作失敗。Total Commander中允許你“跳過”這樣的文件繼續後面的操作。
　　2. 在復制或移動之前Total Commander會自動檢測目標磁盤的大小，不會像資源管理器那樣到空間不夠的時候才報錯。
　　3. 允許把移動、復制、壓縮、解壓縮等操作放“後台進行”，在必要時候還可以暫停當前的操作。另外一種最小化操作可以把Total Commander縮到右小角，她的圖標還在顯示當前的進度，實在是很方便！
　　4. 用資源管理器從光盤上復制文件會把只讀屬性也一同復制，在硬盤上要修改的話還要去掉只讀，如果是直接執行的程序還會出現意想不到的錯誤。Total Commander會自動把“只讀”屬性改為“存檔”屬性，避免上面的麻煩。
　　5. 特異功能：把當前文件夾所有子目錄中的文件放在一起顯示；在主窗口中直接顯示所有文件夾的大小……資源管理器做夢也想不到的功能。
　　（一）、壓縮文件
　　壓縮文件我們幾乎每天都會接觸到，不得不把WinZip、WinRAR之類的壓縮軟件安上一堆，還要逐個去學習它們的使用方法。從Windows Me開始，微軟在操作系統中加入了對Zip文件的支持，使壓縮包操作起來像文件夾一樣方便。Total Commander更勝一籌，不但支持Zip、RAR、ACE等多種格式和各種壓縮軟件生成的自解壓縮文件，而且具有普通壓縮軟件的所有功能：創建自解壓縮包、分卷壓縮包、一次解壓多個壓縮包等等。另一方面它又超越了現在的壓縮軟件，支持直接對壓縮包內文件改名，對壓縮包內部搜索，甚至直接在兩個壓縮包間拷貝文件。
　　（二）、批量文件改名
　　Total Commander的文件改名功能足以讓專業軟件自歎不如。你所能夠想得到的在這裡幾乎都可以實現，例如修改擴展名、在文件名稱中加上數字、轉換大小寫、替換指定的字符、把目錄名或是當前的時間日期加入文件名中。由於使用了占位符，使用者可以精確地控制在第幾個字符上使用上面這些設置。修改結果立即顯示在相應文件名後面，直到按下“開始”才真正對文件修改，修改後仍可以隨時撤消。
　　（三）、文件分割
　　為了通過因特網或軟盤傳送文件，我們常常將大文件分割成多個小文件，於是就出現了大量的文件分割工具，這些軟件往往需要目標機器上也安裝有同樣的軟件。而Total Commander則不同，在目標機器上使用DOS命令“Copy”就可以把文件合並，也就是說有Windows的地方就可以合並。同時它還會創建一個校驗文件，用Total Commander合並時，這個文件用來檢驗合並後的文件是否和原文件相同。
　　（四）、內置FTP功能
　　Total Commander同時可以連接多個服務器，支持站對站傳輸、設置代理服務器、自動保持在線，支持續傳，允許定制遠端路徑和本地路徑，絲毫不比專業軟件差。更重要的是：一切操作就和你在Total Commander中操作本地文件一模一樣！
　　（五）、強大的內置查看器
　　用過內置查看器後你會發現windows記事本的速度太慢了！它可以用最快的速度、最少的資源打開任意大小的文本文件，而且支持以unicode（Dos系統的字符集）、二進制、十六進制格式顯示所打開的文件。對Html文件，它能自動去除各種html標記，並且把原有的鏈接保留，嫌IE啟動慢的話，用它就可以了。除此之外它還支持各種多媒體文件，例如BMP格式的圖片、AVI、WAV，甚至MP3！如果功能再強大些恐怕Media Player、AcdSee、WinAmp都要下崗了。
　　（六）、搜索功能
　　和Total Commander搜索功能比起來，資源管理器中的簡直是小兒科。除了能夠指定查找文件的大小、日期、屬性，Total Commander還可以在壓縮包中搜索，直接搜索多個文本文件中指定的文字，甚至是搜索壓縮包中文本文件的內容！搜索設置還可以保存起來以便下次搜索時再次使用。
　　有了Total Commander，不但可以讓資源處理器走開，而且壓縮軟件、改名軟件、分割軟件、FTP軟件也可以統統請出硬盤。這個世界清淨了！
[編輯本段]第二章　設置篇
　　看得都要流口水了，趕快下一個裝起來，怎麼看起來和用起來都是奇奇怪怪的。不要著急，讓我們先來設置一番。
　　一. 中文語言包
　　在官方網站www.ghisler.com上提供有簡體中文語言包，下面的說明以此為准。下載的語言包放至Total Commander安裝目錄下的Language子目錄中。從菜單“Configuration”→“Options”→“Language”選項卡中選擇“簡體中文”。
　　二. 字體設置
　　你一定感覺Total Commander的漢字很難看，這是因為它默認情況下使用的是英文字體，打開“配置”→“配置”，把“字體”選項卡中的各項都設為宋體，字體大小根據當前分辨率和自己的喜好設置。Total Commander會把各種分辨率下的設置都保存在初始化文件中。
　　三. 增加驅動器按鈕
　　打開“配置”選項卡，選中 “顯示磁盤按鈕欄”及它下方的兩個復選框。這時每個窗口的上方出現一排驅動器按鈕，切換驅動器時更方便。
　　四. 自定義工具欄
　　Total Commander中你可以十分方便地在工具欄上添加你常用的文件、目錄、程序，只需用鼠標左鍵把文件拖動到工具欄即可。
　　默認情況下Total Commander和Dos下的Norton Commander（NC）的操作基本相同。下文的設置將使Total Commander更適合於我們這些用慣了資源管理器的人。
　　五. 顏色設置
　　打開“顏色”選項卡，把“選擇的項目”顏色設為深藍色，“光標”顏色設為紅色，選中“使用反色”復選框。
　　六. 操作方式
　　打開“操作方式”選項卡，在“鼠標選擇模式”組框中選中“用鼠標左鍵”，“選擇文件”組框選中“同時選擇目錄”，保持和資源管理器選擇方式相同。“快速搜索”組框中選中“字母——使用查找對話框”，用於在目錄中快速定位文件，單擊一個字母即可跳到相應字母開頭的文件，但不能使用中文。
　　打開“其它”選項卡，“確認選項”組框中指定哪些操作需要再次確認。默認情況下Total Commander為了達到最高的安全性選擇了全部選項。實際上只選中“覆蓋文件”一項就夠了。
　　七. 顯示設置
　　打開“顯示”選項卡，在“主程序”組框中選中“最小化時縮成任務欄圖標”，最小化後Total Commander將出現在屏幕右下方系統時鐘的旁邊，使用時按下“Alt + Tab”鍵就可以打開（如果沒有打開，再按一下“Enter”鍵）。“文件顯示方式”組框中的“顯示隱藏/系統文件”在需要的時候可以打開。“目錄排序方式”組框中選中“和文件一樣”。“提示說明”組框中選中“按屏幕提示顯示縮略詞”，當文件名無法完全顯示時以提示框顯示。
　　打開“Tab對齊”選項卡，在“文件擴展名”組框中選中“緊跟在文件名後面”。“字節顯示”選擇“K字節” （與資源管理器相同）。窗口中名稱、類型、大小等各項的欄寬可以通過拖動欄頭來實現，用菜單上的“配置”→“保存窗口位置”保存設置。
　　不要選中“以小寫顯示8.3式文件名（如資源管理器），避免文件名的大小寫與實際不符，造成上傳到unix上的網頁找不到文件之類的奇怪錯誤。
　　八. 壓縮設置
　　Total Commander的內置壓縮器支持壓縮Zip、TAR、GZ、TGZ格式，解壓縮ZIP、ARJ、LZH、 RAR、TAR、GZ、CAB和ACE格式，但不支持解壓加密後的Zip文件，這需要外部壓縮軟件的支持，在“Zip壓縮設置”選項卡中選擇“Zip解壓縮程序”。如果需要壓縮為其他格式的壓縮包，在“壓縮程序”選項卡中指定相應程序。
　　九. 內置查看器設置
　　打開“編輯/觀察”選項卡，單擊“設置內部觀察程序”按鈕，把“啟動時顯示模式”設為“純文字”，“啟動時字體”設為“ANSI”，這是Windows使用的字符集。
　　設置初始化文件
　　Total Commander的很多重要設置都保存在wincmd.ini文件中，它默認情況下保存在Windows目錄。你可以對它進行修改使Total Commander更適合自己的需要。下面提到的多數項目都不存在，請自行添加，所有設置在下次啟動Total Commander時生效。
　　[Configuration]
　　AlwaysCopyInBackground=0　總在後台拷貝。設為1時，總在後台拷貝
　　AlwaysToRoot=1 如果設為1，切換驅動器時總是轉到根目錄。
　　CdCloseDoor=1 如果切換到光盤驅動器失敗，嘗試關閉光驅門。為0時禁止此項功能。
　　DriveisCD=FGH 把F、G和H區定為光驅盤符，當從這些區拷貝時，Total Commander將不拷貝文件的只讀屬性。當網絡中的光盤驅動器不能自動探測到時非常有用。
　　StartupScreen=0 不顯示啟動畫面
　　下面的設置可以提高大文件的拷貝速度，筆者做了一個小測試，在昆騰火球硬盤上從D盤往C盤拷貝一個595兆大小的文件，修改前用時4分32秒，改為推薦設置後用時3分25秒，效果還是很明顯的。
　　CopyBlockSize=32 設置復制文件時塊的大小，單位為KB，最小值（默認值）為32
　　CopyHugeBlockSize= 當復制非常大的文件時塊的大小，將繞過硬盤的緩存直接讀寫文件。最小值為10MB，只有大於這個值的文件才以此方式拷貝，小的文件使用CopyBlockSize的設置。］
　　CopyBlockSizeOther=32 設置在不同的硬盤間復制文件時塊的大小，這個值最好小些，因為在拷貝時兩個硬盤可以同時讀寫。而單個硬盤不得不在源文件和目標文件間來回切換，所以大的塊好些。
　　CopyHugeBlockSizeOther= 設置在不同硬盤間拷貝非常大的文件時塊的大小。最小值：256 kB.
　　推薦設置：
　　CopyBlockSize=1024
　　CopyHugeBlockSize=10240
　　CopyBlockSizeOther=128
　　CopyHugeBlockSizeOther=1024
　　[Packer]
　　VerifyZip=0　Total Commander的內置壓縮程序在壓縮完成後自動校驗，這項可以關閉校驗。
　　經過上面的設置，如果你會用資源管理器，不超過10分鐘你就能學會Total Commander。
[編輯本段]第三章　使用篇
　　一. 常用操作
　　常用的操作如查看、復制、移動、刪除等已經在Total Commander下方列出，選擇好文件後單擊相應的按鈕或是按下相應的快捷鍵（F3~F7）就可以完成操作。也可以像Windows中那樣用鼠標拖動完成，用左鍵直接在兩個窗口間拖運是復制，用右鍵可以像資源管理器中一樣先拖動後選擇自己的操作。
　　二. 目錄切換
　　在每一個文件窗口的右上方有兩個按鈕，“/”按鈕轉入根目錄（快捷鍵Ctrl + /），“..”按鈕到上一級目錄（快捷鍵Back Space）。按下快捷鍵Ctrl + D可以把常用的目錄加入到收藏夾中，在文件窗口的標題欄上雙擊鼠標左鍵也可以打開收藏夾。Ctrl + →或←，將光標下的文件夾或壓縮包在另一個窗口打開。Alt +↓顯示歷史文件夾，Alt + ←到前一個訪問過的目錄，Alt + →到後一個訪問過的目錄。
　　三. 選擇文件
　　Total Commander提供了比資源管理器更多的選擇文件的方法。用小鍵盤上的“＋”擴大選擇指定類型文件，“－”減少選擇指定類型文件，例如你可以用“w*.*|*.bak *.old”來選擇所有以“w”開頭但結尾不是“.bak”和“.old”的文件。“*”反向選擇，Alt + 小鍵盤上的“+”選擇所有具有相同擴展名的文件。
　　注意：切換到非當前文件窗口時要先單擊窗口的標題欄，直接單擊文件會丟失剛才的選擇。
　　四. 多文件重命名
　　首先選中要重命名的多個文件，按下快捷鍵Ctrl + T啟動重命名工具。它的使用是很簡單的，這裡給出兩條技巧：1、計數器是按文件的排列順序來工作的，用鼠標拖動或是用Shift + 方向鍵可以排列文件的順序。2、即使重命名工具已經關閉了仍可以撤消上次的重命名操作，用它打開任意文件，單擊“恢復”按鈕。
　　五. 壓縮文件
　　壓縮文件時用右鍵單擊要壓縮的文件，在“復制”命令的下方可以看到“文件壓縮”命令（快捷鍵Alt + F5）。Total Commander巧妙地把其他壓縮程序的優點融合在了一起。像很多安裝程序有多個文件，它們都被保存在一個壓縮包中。雙擊安裝程序，單擊“解壓縮全部文件並執行”，安裝完成後回到Total Commander單擊“確定”，生成的臨時文件就被自動刪除了。如果你修改了臨時解壓文件的內容，Total Commander會提示是否將修改後的內容重新壓縮到壓縮包內。對於Zip壓縮包中的文件可以直接重命名，用右鍵單擊文件就能看到“重命名”命令。
　　在Total Commander中，所有的壓縮文件就像文件夾一樣雙擊就可以進入，但有時我們想用專業的壓縮軟件來打開該怎麼辦呢？很簡單，用右鍵單擊壓縮文件，選擇最上方用黑體寫的文件名，這時你就用默認的關聯軟件打開壓縮包了。
　　六. 解壓縮文件（快捷鍵Alt + F9）
　　壓縮包可以像文件夾一樣雙擊打開，把要解壓的文件用鼠標左鍵拖動到另一個窗口。Total Commander可以一次解壓多個文件，並可以把每個壓縮包中的文件放至與壓縮包同名的文件夾中，在解壓窗口選中“解壓每個壓縮包到各自目錄”就可以實現。如果你想使用系統中安裝的壓縮軟件打開壓縮包，右鍵單擊文件，選擇菜單最上方黑體文件名即可，或是選中文件後按Shift + Enter鍵。對於自解壓縮文件，選中文件後按下Ctrl + Page Down打開。
　　注意：Total Commander在壓縮解壓縮文件、分割文件時的目標目錄一般是另一個文件窗口中的當前目錄。
　　七. 內置查看器
　　一次查看多個文件，先選擇多個文件後按下F3，快捷鍵N打開下一個文件，P打開上一個文件，Esc或Q退出。F3除了可以查看普通文本文件外，它還可以查看網頁（*.htm），它能自動去除各種html標記，只留下文字內容，而且原有的鏈接仍然可以使用，嫌IE啟動慢的話，用它就可以了。特別是當查看大量文件時一個個雙擊實在會累死人，用Total Commander的內置查看器你只要用鼠標配合Shift鍵選中所有想看的文件，然後用F3打開，下面就可以用“P”鍵查看上個文件和“N”鍵查看下個文件。
　　查看器本身只支持BMP格式的圖片，但是配合上Irfan這個看圖軟件它可以查看幾十種圖片格式，與AcdSee相比也毫不遜色。除此之外它還支持各種多媒體文件，例如AVI、WAV， MP3，如果安裝了Divx解碼器連MPEG4也能看！實際上它就是一個沒有豪華Skin的Media Player，Media Player能放的它都能放。
　　試一下Ctrl + Q，它可以讓你在另外一側窗口查看文件，連F3都不用了，只需要點你想看的文件，文件的內容就出現在另一側的窗口中。要想把查看的內容完全放到窗口內只需調整內置查看器為“自動換行”和“圖像適應窗口”。快讓你旁邊的朋友看看這個能看電影的文件管理器吧：）
　　八. 修改文件夾的時間屬性
　　選中一個或多個文件夾，打開菜單“文件”→“改變屬性”。
　　九. 省時省力的收藏夾
　　windows資源管理器的目錄樹當然不是擺設，在一層層的樹狀目錄間穿梭用它是再方便不過了。收藏夾設計大大降低Total Commander沒有目錄樹所造成的定位困難。根據80/20原理，在數百個文件夾中，我們常用的文件夾數不超過20個，只要把這20個文件夾放進收藏夾就可以避免大量浪費在尋找文件夾上的時間。
　　雙擊Total Commander的欄頭（Ctrl + D）可以打開、添加或刪除收藏夾，方便地在各個常用的目錄間跳轉，但是當添加的目錄越來越多時列表會變得很長，Total Commander的作者已經考慮到了這個問題，他允許我們添加子菜單。先將所有要收藏的目錄加入收藏夾，然後雙擊欄頭選擇“配置”，用“添加子菜單”增加父目錄，用鼠標左鍵直接將已添加的目錄拖動到父目錄的下方就可以成為它的子菜單。在項目的標題中插入“&”符號還可以為它設置一個熱鍵。
　　十. 快速定位文件、文件夾
　　在Windows的資源管理器中你只要按下一個字母，馬上可以定位到當前目錄下以這個字母開頭的文件或文件夾上。Total Commander把這種快速定位功能進一步加強，你可以將文件名全部輸入來定位文件。請在Total Commander的“配置”窗口的“操作方式”中選中“快速搜索”一欄的最後一項：“字母（用於快速搜索窗口）”。在使用中筆者發現這個小搜索窗口可以使用通配符，例如要搜索“電腦報20031205.html”，同一目錄下還有一堆類似“電腦報XXXXXXXX.html”的文件，這時我們可以用“*20031205”來快速定位我們想要的文件，這樣也避免了搜索窗口中不能使用中文的缺陷。
　　十一. 將在Total Commander的工具欄上添加快捷方式
　　桌面上快捷方式擋住了漂亮的壁紙？或是使用別人的電腦不方便建立一桌子的快捷方式？沒有關系，你可以把快捷方式放在每天必用的Total Commander工具欄上，只要將文件或文件夾用左鍵拖動到工具欄上就可以了。
　　十二. 常用快捷鍵
　　ALT+SHIFT+ENTER　在詳細列表狀態下顯示當前所有目錄的大小
　　Ctrl + B　把當前文件夾下所有子目錄中的文件放在一起顯示
　　Ctrl + L 統計選中文件（文件夾）的大小
　　Alt + F7　查找文件
　　Shift + F4　在當前目錄創建一個新的文本文件並用設定的編輯器打開。不必再為了新建一個文本文件點右鍵，等半天然後選“新建文本文件”。右一個常用的右鍵“新建”→“新建文件夾”更簡單，直接F7。
　　Shift + Esc　把Total Commander最小化到系統托盤
　　Alt + Enter 打開文件屬性窗口
　　CTRL + P 把當前路徑拷貝到命令行
　　CTRL + U 交換左右文件窗口
　　Ctrl + R或F2 刷新窗口
　　CTRL + Q 打開快速查看窗口，在另一側窗口選擇文本文件立即可以看到內容
　　CTRL + F 連接到FTP服務器
　　CTRL + SHIFT + F 斷開FTP服務器
　　CTRL + N 新FTP連接
　　Ctrl + Shift + Enter 將選中的文件名（包括路徑和文件名）輸出到命令欄
　　Shift + F2 對比目錄
　　→ 將焦點定位到命令行以便輸入命令。
　　不要小看這幾個快捷鍵，配合上Total Commander的批量重命名、文件過濾等強大功能，對文件操作方面你幾乎無所不能。
　　十三. 集成SFV和MD5校驗
　　經常從FTP下載的朋友對.sfv和.md5兩種文件一定不會陌生，這兩種文件常被用來校驗所下載的文件是否與原文件一致。為了使用這兩種文件，你可能需要專門去下載個小軟件FlashSFV或是其它什麼小東東，軟件雖然不大，但是每次裝過系統還總是不能忘。Total Commander已經集成了校驗與制作SFV文件和MD5文件的功能，在Total Commander中，你只要雙擊.sfv或.md5文件，校驗自動開始，所有未通過校驗的文件自動選中。你也可以直接用Total Commander制作這兩種文件。
　　十四. 更多的窗口
　　雖然比起資源管理器的單窗口，Total Commander有了兩個窗口，但還是常常無法滿足我們的需要，剛剛出爐的6.0中將窗口無限擴展，如同當前的多窗口浏覽器一樣打開多個窗口。新建窗口十分簡單，只需要按下Ctrl + T鍵，就可以新建一個窗口。使用Ctrl + ↑將當前選中的壓縮文件或文件夾在一個新的窗口中打開。

　　如果你進入TC的安裝目錄下，把鼠標放到每個文件上稍做停留就會發現一個黃色的提示框冒出來，告訴你這個文件是做什麼用的。這可能是你一直想要但微軟始終也沒給你的功能——文件注釋。AcdSee很早就有了這項功能，隨意地注釋圖片，但它僅僅是一個看圖軟件，應用范圍十分有限，TC做為一個資源管理器的替代者，完美兼容AcdSee的注釋文件格式，在任一個你想做注釋的文件上按下Ctrl+Z就可以添加注釋，注釋的內容放在當前目錄下一個名叫descript.ion的隱藏文件中。









軟件的流行源於其自身的魅力

這是一個絢麗多彩的時代，不管是WinXP、Mac OS還是現在大家都熱切關注的Vista，都離不開一個特性——優秀的視覺體驗。但卻有那麼一款軟件，公然與華麗背道而馳，至今還維持著Windows標准窗口的“簡陋”界面。更令人驚奇的是，它還贏得了一代代電腦愛好者的芳心，且呈愈演愈烈之勢。這款神奇的軟件，就是被諸多電腦玩家倍為推崇的Total Commander。

Total Commander是一款全能的文件管理器，它比Windows自帶的資源管理器強大許多。依靠本身的程序和眾多的插件，Total Commander幾乎可以實現你想要的所有功能：搜索、復制、移動、改名、刪除、文件內容比較、同步文件夾、批量重命名文件、分割合並文件、文件校驗……等等，甚至通過它還可以進行Zip、RAR、7z等各類文件的解壓縮，Word文檔、Excel文檔、影視音頻文件的預覽和查看，FTP下載、文件內容查找替換等。可以說，只有想不到，沒有做不到。

開發Total Commander的是瑞士的Christian Ghisler，他已經在Total Commander身上花費了14年的心血。在2007年剛剛到來的時刻，我們很榮幸地通過電子郵件采訪到Ghisler本人，請這位軟件牛人亮相“高手面對面”，和我們中國的讀者一起分享他的軟件開發所得。 高手榜：Christian Ghisler：來自瑞士，現年37歲，與其兄弟全職維護Total Commander。他的主要工作是軟件的管理和技術支持，每周只能抽出4個早晨的時間從事軟件新功能的開發。

Total Commander是一款非常實用的磁盤文件管理軟件，官方網站為http://www.ghisler.com。據Ghisler介紹Total Commander 7的正式版將在二月或三月發布，包括界面圖標、樹形窗口、安全FTP傳輸等方面的更新。而在Total Commander 7.5或者8中將實現Unicode編碼的支持，屆時軟件也將脫離逐漸遠去的Win9x系統。


界面十分簡潔的Total Commander是個電腦操作利器

和不少同行一樣，現實中的Ghisler十分低調，不肯提供自己的照片。而且在網上也搜不到（按照他名字搜索的結果全是Total Commander），只能留給我們無限的猜想了。

在Windows上找不到任何雙窗口的管理器

家用電腦：Ghisler先生，很高興你能接受我們的采訪。不知你是否清楚，在中國，由你開發的Total Commander深受電腦玩家喜愛，擁有非常眾多的用戶。

Ghisler：我很高興已經有了一個中文版本的Total Commander。中國快速的經濟增長給我留下了很深的印象，而且除了經濟，在其他方面中國也在展示她的影響力。比如，去年我們看到了來自中國的第一部電視連續劇“雪域迷城”，這部充滿了奇幻色彩的電視劇是中文發音德文字幕的，而在以前我們看的電視劇基本上全是來自美國的。

家用電腦：Total Commander的功能跟Windows自帶的資源管理器有些類似，但遠比資源管理器好用，不知你當時是出於什麼原因開發它的，難道是因為資源管理器不夠好用嗎？而經過這麼多年軟件仍然深受歡迎，你覺得靠的又是什麼呢？

Ghisler：Total Commander的開發始於14年前，當時在Windows上我找不到任何雙窗口的文件管理器，DOS下倒是有很多，像DOS Command Center和原來的Norton Commander。因此，作為業余項目，我便開始開發Total Commander，直到它變成了我的生活。

至於說用戶們一直都很喜歡Total Commander，我想主要的原因是程序足夠簡單和強大。你可以很快地從簡單的任務，如在兩個目錄間拷貝文件開始用起。而隨著使用時間的增長，你會發現很多有用的技巧，如借助熱鍵讓任務執行得更快，使用批量命名，或者安裝插件為Total Commander添加更多功能。在使用中體會發現的樂趣，這就是Total Commander的魅力所在。

我更喜歡自己編程來實現新的特性

家用電腦：據說直到現在，你還在使用Delphi 2.0編譯器來編寫Total Commander（最新版為2006），這是真的嗎？為什麼呢，因為習慣還是版權？

Ghisler：之所以使用Delphi 2.0，是因為它非常快速，創建的代碼很小。Delphi 2.0重編譯程序不到1秒，這讓開發者感覺非常舒服。我同樣擁有以後所有版本的Delphi，但遷移到新版本上不僅需要對程序做出重大的變更，還會造成程序變大和變慢，因此我沒有使用。所以說，我喜歡自己完全控制新技術，而不是把它丟給編譯器。新版的Delphi支持Windows XP界面和其它新特性，但我更喜歡自己編程來實現。

更重要的是要增加付費用戶的數量

家用電腦：也許你知道，在中國，有一些用戶使用了盜版的Total Commander，那麼你對盜版軟件有什麼看法？

Ghisler：我明白在許多國家，與平均收入相比Total Commander非常昂貴，因此我們能夠容忍那些沒有能力付費的用戶使用未注冊的版本。因此Total Commander在注冊保護上做得很少，並且在未付費的情況下，能夠不被修改的無限期使用下去，這種信任在我們的用戶看來就像是借款。我們經常通過Email收到用戶的來信，說他們在使用多年以後，終於有能力負擔起Total Commander的費用，非常想支持我們的工作。許多不能自己負擔起費用的用戶也將Total Commander帶到他們的公司，然後由公司購買。

家用電腦：那麼在最後，請向我們中國的用戶說點什麼吧！

When a copy/move/delete/create directory operation fails due to insufficient rights, ask user whether he wants to copy as administrator. Also allow a user to read from an inaccessible directory if he knows the administrator password.

False virus alert from Norman Antivirus
January 3, 2007: The virus scanner "Norman Antivirus" with virus definitions from 3. January 2007 falsely reports a virus "W32/dialer.gen7" in Totalcmd.exe and deletes it. Unfortunately this is a bug in Norman - it probably reports this virus for all UPX-packed programs. All versions of TC seem to be affected.

If you have this problem, you can right-click the Norman Icon and select "Internet Update". This should show an "Update 0103b". If you still have the problem, then you can use the unpacked version of Total Commander. Please note that this installer contains just the new Totalcmd.exe, and not all the other files from the normal Total Commander installer. Therefore you need to install the normal Total Commander version first.

June 14, 2004: Warning: A malicious virus/worm stores itself as "Total Commander 7.0 full_install.exe" or "winamp 7.0 full_install.exe" when infecting systems. You can find details about this worm on the Symantec security response site.
Update: The new Version 7 of Total Commander does not have this name, so do not run this file! If you find such a file, you should update your virus definitions and scan your PC as soon as possible. The installer of Total Commander 7 is called tcmdr701.exe. It has been scanned thoroughly for viruses, and is signed by our own certificate. We recommend that you download the program only via the sites listed on our official download page.
