對於幾個出生在查爾斯城的愛爾蘭裔竊賊來說，他們從小就注定是一輩子的朋友，也逃脫不了一輩子是盜賊的命運。多年來，他們見慣了生活各種醜陋的樣子，經過各種嚴酷環境的磨砺。對他們來說，搶劫一家波士頓的銀行，清空那裏的金庫並且劫持銀行經理克萊爾·基茜（麗貝卡·豪爾 飾演）做人質，都不是什麽難事。道格·馬瑞（本·阿弗萊克 飾演）作爲這個盜竊團夥的領導人，以心思缜密、狡猾老練著稱；傑姆·考夫林（傑瑞米·雷納 飾演）是一個沉迷於酒精、毒品，時刻享受狂野生活的人，和道格有意見上的不合；格羅西（小喬治·卡羅爾 飾演）是個挺熱情的人，人雲亦雲。在波士頓的那次搶劫中，本來一切都很順利，可是，讓道格萬萬沒想到的是，自己愛上了作爲人質的克萊爾，而這突如其來的變化讓一切都失去了控制。道格本來想要幹完這一票就收手，過上平凡人的普通生活，現在，克萊爾卻變成他最大的弱點，令他身陷情感的矛盾沖突中，追求她也成爲他最危險的一次行動。聯邦調查局探員亞當·弗勞利（喬·漢姆）負責調查這起銀行劫案，並發誓要將這夥竊賊送進監獄，他的出現，讓道格的未來更加撲朔迷離……
幕後制作
威尼斯電影節尚未結束，本·阿弗萊克已經帶著《城中大盜》劇組成員轉戰多倫多電影節，9月10日，在記者會上，談及自己的作品，小本也不由得興奮地表情多變起來。當天出席的劇組成員還有女主角麗貝卡·豪爾、“绯聞女孩”布蕾克·萊弗利、“廣告狂人”喬·哈姆。
《城中大盜》是本·阿弗萊克導演的第二部電影，這次他還自己出演，影片講述了四個劫匪搶劫了一家銀行，然而劫匪頭目卻與銀行女職員産生了不可思議的感情。同時，一位FBI警探竭盡全力準備抓捕他們。

本·阿弗萊克自導自演、麗貝卡·豪爾、“廣告狂人”喬·哈姆、“绯聞女孩”布蕾克·萊弗利以及因《拆彈部隊》榮獲奧斯卡提名的傑瑞米·雷納等等加盟的新作《城中大盜》曝光預告片。影片預告應隨諾蘭的《奠基》於周五晚亮相影院，但卻提前在網絡曝光。 影片根據查克·霍根（Chuck Hogan）小說《竊賊王子（The Prince of Thieves）》改編。本·阿弗萊克導演處女作前作《失蹤的寶貝》上映之後得到廣泛的好評（阿弗萊克當導演比要幹演員出色？）——藍領階級生活的質感以及故事懸念的鋪陳安排都讓人印象深刻。或許，正是因此《城中大盜》才能引來衆明星加盟、場面上也氣派了很多。

Right well here we are with a nice cam for everyone to enjoy...
Video on this was pretty good other than the odd auto focus issues. First was the colors, we
messed about with the rgb colors and also brightened it up a bit, along with lowering the
chroma and that dulled the real bright spots. The audio was ac3 from the source files so
we opted to leave that because it sounds fairly good for cam audio.
You can hear the odd laughing and such, but not bad at all. Sample was made so you
could hear the laughter at one certain spot...
