BitDefender Total Security是BitDefender功能最多保護套件，是其它兩
個版本Antivirus Pro和Internet Security集合，再加上一些系統優化，備份和文件加密等整體的所有安全功能。BitDefender Total Security對病毒，間諜軟件，phising，身份盜竊攻擊和其它在線威脅的綜合保護。

功能
　　1）防病毒和反間諜軟件，漏洞掃描，發垃圾郵件，雙向防火牆（雙向
防火牆既能夠將入侵者阻擋在外，又可以防止敏感信息洩漏）和家庭控制；
　　2）新增社交網絡保護功能，改進Search Advisor功能；
　　3）個人隱私過濾，Antiphising，文件粉碎機和文件加密；
　　4）Scan Dispatcher（資源使用率下降低至某值時進行觸發器系統掃描，以避免任何對系統性能的影響），系統優化；
　　5）新增Safebox – 在線備份及文件同步功能。

　　BitDefender 2012在界面上也做了很大的改進，酷黑的風格，相信更能討好用戶。在軟件圖標上BitDefender 2012也一改面目，由原來的圓圖標變成現在的方圖標。

The transferred and stored data is encrypted using the industry-standard AES algorithms, ensuring that the data is never accessible to malicious 3rd parties. Also, only the changes to a file are uploaded to the central online cloud storage in order to further improve synchronization speed and bandwidth usage.
