Bryce 輕易讓使用者做出真實的自然3D動畫場景，模擬詭谲多變的大自然景物並融入真實大氣效應的天空場景，包含雲層的變化，陽光或月亮，星空，彩虹，雲霧，甚至於各種自然現象景觀互相反射光線後所呈現出的視覺效果，皆可在 Bryce 中達到模擬真實環境的能力。
Bryce 中的動態的地形編輯器利用繪制灰階圖檔的明暗度，來表示山峰，山谷，高原與河床，並及時看到3D旋轉預視的結果。Bryce 同時提供即時預視的功能，支持Direct 3D，Quickdraw 3D，與Open GL等加速界面。內建功能強大的材質編輯器，以三度空間處理材質方式超越一般的貼圖的方式，具質感效果的材質真實呈現周遭反射的環境狀態與燈光，且得以設定成動畫。
Bryce 對3D場景中動態物件的控制是也輕而易舉的。可以用鼠標來決定物件的運動路徑，也可以對運動路徑做縮放，重新取樣或位置變化。運動路徑與運動路徑間有彼此聯結的功能，以短時間模擬出更復雜的運動模式。利用物件追蹤功能，能對針對物件架設的攝影機和燈光，自動跟隨物件的移動。利用布林運算，使用者能夠定義以二物件造形的交集或是以一物件減去另一物件造形的制作方式，得到獨特的具體模型主體。支持 DXF/3DMF/OBJ 等文件格式。就實用性來說，寬廣的格式支持將 Bryce 的應用領域遠遠超過山水造景的應用范圍。
