Following new features are included:
New MeteoSyn: Data files from Meteonorm (*.dat) and the German Weather Service DWD (*.xlm) can now be imported.
Import and Export of Photo Plan planning’s.
Proxy settings are now taken from the internet settings of the Windows Control Panel. Therefore PV * SOL can now use password protected proxies. The entries in the programs Options menu are not required anymore.
The used climate data record is now saved in the project file.
The minimum value of the „Maximum Feed-in Power” is now 40 % instead of 60 %.
For 3D projects the system height is no longer considered when using the function “Use for all arrays” in the losses window.
When you manually import the database file pvsol.mdb self-created records are now obtained.
The speed of the yield simulation in 3D projects has been increased.
Following fixes have been made:
Photo Plan only starts when it is installed in the latest version. If an old version is installed a reference to the new version appears.
In the selection windows of the load profiles and tariffs, the first column is now preselected.
When using a location in the southern hemisphere the calculation of the optimum row distance in 2D projects was not possible.
In the project report of the 2D planning the orientation of the azimuth arrow of the roof was wrong if the mounting system was rotated.
When entering the distance from the right edge in the 3D planning the program crashes in some cases.

A real-world representation of the shading from surrounding objects is extremely important for precisely calculating yields. You’re therefore looking for a program which takes shading into account as analytically as possible? PV*SOL® Expert does just that! You can visualize all roof-integrated or mounted systems - even on the ground - with up to 2,000 modules in 3D and calculate shading on the basis of 3D objects.
The user-friendly 3D menu navigation is divided into the five sections of terrain view, building view, module coverage, module mounting and module configuration. Simply select possible shading objects and position them on the terrain or the building. PV*SOL® Expert then calculates how often on average the modules are shadowed by the objects and displays the result in graphical form.
Your benefit: the visualization in 3D mode provides you with detailed information on shadows cast at various times of the day and year and consequently on likely reductions in yield.
