CIMdata公司對CAM軟件行業的最新分析排名表明:Mastercam銷量再次排名世界第一,是CAD/CAM軟件行業持續11年銷量第一軟件巨頭.

Mastercam最新發行的版本對四軸、五軸和多軸功能做了一步大幅提升，包括四軸、五軸曲面加工和多軸刀具路徑。

* 使用全新整合式的視窗界面，使您的工作更迅速。

MasterCAM是由美國CNCsoftware公司推出的基於PC機平台的CAD／CAM一體化軟件，由於其卓越的設計及加工功能，在世界上擁有眾多的忠實用戶，被廣泛應用於機械、電子、航空等領域。目前在我國制造業及教育業界,MasterCAM由於其出色的表現，有著極為廣闊的應用前景。
作為一個CAD／CAM集成軟件，MasterCAM系統包括有設計(CAD)和加工(CAM)兩大部分。其中設計(CAD)部分主要由Design模塊來實現，它具有完整的曲線曲面功能，不僅可以設計和編輯二維、三維空間曲線，還可以生成方程曲線；采用NURBS、PARAMETERICS等數學模型，可以以多種方法生成曲面，並具有豐富的曲面編輯功能。加工(CAM)部分主要由Mill、Lathe和Wire三大模塊來實現，並且各個模塊本身都包含有完整的設計(CAD)系統，其中Mill模塊可以用來生成銑削加TIJ具路徑，並可進行外形銑削、型腔加工、鑽孔加工、平面加工、曲面加工以及多軸加工等的模擬；Lathe模塊可以用來生成車削加工刀具路徑，並可進行粗／精車、切槽以及車螺紋的加工模擬；Wire模塊用來生成線切割激光加工路徑，從而能高效地編制出任何線切割加工程序，可進行2-4軸上下異形加工模擬，並支持各種CNC控制器。
