andros這家Linux經銷廠商花了將近兩年的時間，終於在4月25日推出了該公司第一個伺服器作業系統 Xandros Server。該產品除了嘗試與 紅帽 的RHEL或是 網威 的SLES產品競爭之外，Xandros也定位這個新的伺服器產品是針對想要減少視窗伺服器管理成本的中小型企業。
該公司宣稱Xandros Server是一個可以提供中小型企業以無縫方式取代任何的檔案、列印、與群組軟體伺服器的替代方案，且透過自動化的管理模式，可以減少約三成的管理工作。此外，Xandros也指出該伺服器與現今的視窗網域以及網路技術完全相容，更適合作為尋找最低的停機時間、減少支援開支、增進效率、與加入新功能的最佳產品選擇。Xandros Server的其中一個賣點，就是將該產品作為視窗伺服器的取代商品，因此也包括了視窗網路服務與用來遷移視窗網域使用者到 Linux 平台的無縫遷移工具。
北京，2006年5月8日 — 為軟件的快捷開發及簡便操作提供領先技術的奇趣科技（Trolltech）公司和可替代Windows產品的易用Linux產品領先提供商Xandros近日宣布，采用奇趣科技的Qt?開發框架開發的新型Xandros服務器（Xandros Server）最近在美國波士頓舉行的LinuxWorld大會上榮獲了“傑出產品獎”（Product Excellence Award）。利用可靠高效的Qt開發框架，Xandros開發人員開發出了全圖形用戶界面的Xandros管理控制台（Xandros Management Console，簡稱xMC）。
