Introducing...
The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E³, is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.
E3 is widely considered to be the ultimate expo in the video game industry and major video game critics routinely document the event and sometimes even provide a series of E3 awards. Video game companies generally spend more on their presentations for E3 than any other convention. Major video game critics often have a "best of E3" award session (similar to end-of-year award sessions), and only E3 consistently features such awards.
After reaching a record attendance of nearly 70,000 people in 2005 and 60,000 in 2006 E3 was transformed into invitation-only in 2007 and 2008. A separate conference called the Entertainment for All Expo was held those years to accommodate the public demand for a major, annual video game event. However, it did not replicate E3's success and was abandoned.

很多電子游戲的開發者會在展會上展示他們即將上市的游戲，或者發布即將面世的硬件產品，其中的1/5是從未向公眾展示過的。大展上面的獨立獎項“游戲批評獎”（Game Critics Awards）從1998年開始，頒發給E3上面最出風頭的各種游戲。
E3每年在舉辦時候的一周活動都是安排好的，這樣一來參展的人就很容易安排自己的日程。這樣的舉措也方便了采訪展會的記者們。
很多著名的廠商（比如Sony、微軟和任天堂）在“E3一周”的周一和周二都會舉辦一個新聞發布會。一般來說像E3這種大型展會舉辦的時候，洛杉矶區域和附近的旅館都會爆滿，大量的工作人員會在各處為自己公司的新產品拉起橫幅造勢。從周二到周四，面向游戲發行商和制作者的大會就要召開，大家會聚在一起討論游戲業以後的發展方向。
E3 2011於北京時間6月5日至6月7日在洛杉矶會展中心舉行。根據美國娛樂軟體協會ESA表示，本屆E3共有46800人出席，共有200家游戲商參展，超過100多家，來自18個國家的零售商參加E3的VIP零售商項目。國際參展商E3參展出席代表從2010年90個國家上升到了106個國家。除3家傳統硬件廠商（索尼 微軟 任天堂）外，EA和育碧首次以軟件商身份舉辦E3展前新聞發布會。

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary isn't the only in-development game for Microsoft's mega-franchise. After a leak this morning, the tech giant confirmed at its E3 2011 press conference that Master Chief is coming back for Halo 4.
In wrapping up their press conference Microsoft revealed the above debut teaser trailer for the game, showing Master Chief coming out of the stasis he was left in at the conclusion of Halo 3. No further details were provided.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is the third game in the Uncharted series, created by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation 3, and due for release in North America on November 1, 2011, Europe on November 4, 2011 and Australia on Q4 2011. It is the sequel to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.It was first announced on December 9, 2010.Officially it was announced at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards with a debut trailer, which was on December 11, 2010.The worldwide demo of the game was premiered on the American late-night talk show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on December 14, 2010.

發布會開場sony拿出了自己的看家大作《神秘海域3》，現場的演示以及公布的宣傳視頻都相當出色，得到了在場媒體的一致好評。
《神秘海域3》之後的《抵抗3》，作為獨占游戲，不僅支持MOVE，還成為索尼為PS3准備的3D顯示器的同捆品。隨後科比的出場以及其诙諧的演示，給現場帶來了一片笑聲。在公布了《狡狐大冒險4》、《星際迷航》、《DUST514》、EA三作獨占下載包等游戲後，NGP終於登場了。
平井一夫上台後先是講解了PS SUITE的一些策略，隨後開始說正事，也就是NGP的正式命名：PS VITA。之後大屏幕上演示了PSV的諸多特性。接下來的現場游戲演示，充分展示了這款掌機的強大性能。即便是現場照片，也能看出《神秘海域：黃金深淵》不輸PS3的畫面，隨後更是有首次公布的PSV版《小小大星球》和《街霸×鐵拳》。這部性能出眾的掌機，定價僅為249美元（WIFI）和299美元（3G），價格便宜到令人出乎意料。而定價249美元的3DS，瞬間壓力陡增。

A new "ManiaScript" is being created to help players add new features in the game. A new environment named Canyon will be available in the game.

《賽道狂飙2：峽谷》將帶來比前作更加精致的游戲畫面，通過“ManiaPlanet”平台，玩家也可以分享自己最佳的賽事成績，或是與其他好手一決高下。
最後是《刺客信條》系列最新作《刺客信條 啟示錄》精彩的預告片和現場實機演示。預告片一如既往地加上了令人心曠神怡的背景音樂，初代主角阿泰爾和第二作主角艾齊奧在影像中巧妙地穿越同時出現在一個時空中。
“艾齊奧”形象大變，已經從一個青年人變成中年偏老的角色，而且第二作和《兄弟會》中主角的五官特征全然無法辨識出來，但是根據後面的實機演示DEMO最後透露這個角色就是艾齊奧，但是《刺客信條》向來都有預告片和實際游戲劇情有偏差的傳統，所以這個不太像艾齊奧的年長刺客身份暫時不能確定。
該作定於今年11月與PC、PS3，及Xbox 360玩家見面

HD化作品的共同特點：
-並非模擬器。為PS3和X360重制！
-為HD分辨率設計的新用戶界面。
-重新繪制的2D原畫和重新制作的字體。
-全新的獎杯&成就。
-利用PS3和X360的右搖桿以及力回饋。（特制PSP版HD化，因為PS2本身也有右搖桿和震動）
-Transfarring記錄文件傳送系統。
-進化的音效。
Transfarring系統：

用USB連接PSP與PS3，通過Transfarring OUT和Transfarring IN，可以相互傳遞記錄，但是記錄只能存在於PSP或PS3之中的一方，另外一方會被特殊程序阻擋，以免出現記錄不統一而產生的沖突。
3DS平台的《潛龍諜影 食蛇者3D》公布了更多詳情：游戲將利用3DS的攝像頭構建全新的“照片-迷彩”（Photo-Camo）功能；3DS的重力感應系統將得到應用，用來控制主角平衡；收集要素鴨子被耀西代替。
游戲將利用3DS的攝像頭構建全新的“照片-迷彩”（Photo-Camo）功能，玩家可以將攝像頭拍攝的照片用作游戲中主角斯內克的迷彩塗裝。玩過原作的都知道迷彩與地形的相似度越高隱蔽度越高，所以這個系統下，玩家能找到越適合地形顏色的環境，游戲過程就會越輕松。

《魂斗羅》新作象征性Logo出現，預示新作，不過並未公布詳情。
視頻中，一個紅色火球在黑色背景中畫出了一道弧，最終形成了《魂斗羅》標題畫面那個令老玩家們淚流滿面的"C"字圖案。隨後下方打出了一串文字：They're coming（他們來了）。
由於2D平台的射擊游戲在家用機上整體趨於沒落，Konami的《魂斗羅》已經沉寂了相當長一段時間沒有過新動作。去年E3時，Konami透露會為任天堂新掌機3DS制作一款《魂斗羅》游戲，但當時也沒有確認任何細節。
