《Sleeping Dogs》將由一家名為“United Front Games”的工作室與Square Enix倫敦工作室合作開發，游戲主要以發生在香港的臥底警匪故事為主線。而根據SE對於該游戲的簡要描述，這部游戲更類似於咱們熟知的香港系列電影《無間道》。

在《Sleeping Dogs》中，玩家扮演的是一名名為“沈偉（Wei Shen）”的香港警察，接到任務作為一名臥底潛入世界上最大的黑社會組織內部，與警察裡應外合將其剿滅。玩家將在繁華而擁擠的香港島進行游戲，霓虹燈閃爍的街道、開闊的街頭集市，忠誠與背叛，一些難以置信的故事情節都將在這裡發生。而隨著臥底任務的不斷深入，沈偉也開始慢慢反思自己的動機。

動作場面相當華麗，每個街角，市集，港口或摩天樓都能成為緊張刺激的槍戰，街頭飙速和功夫味十足的打斗。以充滿想象力的近戰打斗系統，玩家能夠施展出最花哨的功夫動作，單挑一票敵人。還能施展可折骨的踢技與連擊，強悍的反擊，與環境融合的充滿電影化的摔技，可拿起或利用眾多游戲世界的道具，從圓鋸到公用電話亭，焚燒爐到冰箱門。

本作中包含有65種車輛，玩家可以參加非法的街頭賽車，獲得金錢、馬子和地位等獎勵。本作將於今年登陸三大平台。
