Minimum System Requirements

WINDOWS:
1. OS: Windows 95, 98, NT or higher (Windows 3.1 not supported).
2. Processor: Intel Pentium (or equivalent) and higher.
3. RAM: 24 MB, 32MB recommended.
4. Monitor: 800X600 resolution, minimum 256 colors.
5. CD-ROM drive: Quad speed or higher.
6. Browser: MSIE 4.01 or higher; Netscape 4.06 or higher. The installer for MSIE 5.0 is provided on the CD-ROM in the Installers folder.
7. Plug-ins: Shockwave 7.0.2 or higher. The installer for Shockwave 7.0.2 is provided on the CD-ROM in the Installers folder. You can also download the latest version of the installer at http://www.macromedia.com. Note: Once you have downloaded the Shockwave plug-in, you do not need to be online to run the CD-ROM.



Quick Start

WINDOWS:
1. Insert CD-ROM.
2. Open the Personal Tutor CD-ROM from Windows (via Explorer, My Computer, or Start/Run).
3. Double-click on PersonalTutor.htm (If opening via Start/Run type "X:PersonalTutor.htm" where X refers your CD-ROM drive).
4. Follow the steps on your computer screen.



This program requires an Internet browser in order to run. If you cannot run Personal Tutor for Physics, install the Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 browser, which is found in the Installers folder.
1. Insert CD-ROM.
2. Double-click on the My Computer icon.
3. Double-click on the PersonalTutor CD icon.
4. Double-click on the Installers folder icon.
5. Double-click on the Internet Explorer 5.0 folder icon.
6. Double-click on the explorer.exe icon and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Once the browser is installed, double-click on the Personal Tutor icon and click on the Setup button.undefined
