著名嬰幼兒研究專家 Robert C.Titzer 博士的研究成果為基礎(博士的女兒在九個月大時就已經學會認字)，Your Baby Can Read 是一套英語閱讀學習教材。幼兒對語言的學習接受度遠超過大人，學習閱讀其實可以和口語學習一樣容易。事實上，英語閱讀的學習就如同學習第二外國語一樣，在五歲前學習會比五歲後學習容易得多。Your Baby Can Read 系列的設計是針對語言學習的黃金時期，給予多重感官的接觸與學習。

Your Baby Can Read 的教材系列，由美國著名嬰幼兒研究專家Dr.Robert Titzer所制作。
Dr.Titzer 曾任教於美國 4 間不同大學，致力於兒童心理學習發展范疇，並研究出世界上第一套專為嬰幼兒及學齡前幼童(3個月到5歲的孩子)而設計的英語閱讀學習教材。Dr.Titzer 指出：「幼兒腦部發展速度奇高，他們對語言學習的接收能力遠超越成人，只要運用適當的教學方式，在幼兒階段已可以掌握外語口語及閱讀。」
透過這套教材，幼兒可以自然、有趣的方法，輕松地將語言輸入腦中。在美國，5 歲以下兒童不一定入讀幼兒園，因此部分家長會選用這套教材，在家教導孩子學習英語，而美國有部分幼兒園亦采用他的教材。
(Your Baby Can Read)其理念是透過多元感官，包括視覺、聽覺、觸覺、動覺等感官，來促進孩子的學習。據稱，3個月大的幼兒已可以使用，家長每天只要給孩子看1小時左右的 DVD教材，並可因應孩子的喜好，讓他每天早晚分兩次，每次看半小時，或每天看3次 DVD，首兩次看20分鐘，最後一次看10分鐘等，一個月後再根據系列的建議進行復習，孩子即可以掌握英語閱讀能力。
Dr.Titzer 稱：「幼兒毋須經過學習字母名稱(Letter Names)的階段，然後把字母的外貌與語音結合等抽象學習階段，已可以掌握英語閱讀法則。孩子在看DVD及由家長陪同閱讀系列的相關書籍時，已可以自行歸納出語音及語法規則，如透過閱讀Baby、Bottle、Bear、Boy等知道B的發音為「Ba」；知道動作進行時，動詞需要加上「ing」等。
當孩子完成這套課程，可以搭配閃卡跟孩子進行更深的認字活動，待孩子掌握到 100 個英文字時，可跟孩子閱讀英語圖書；及至孩子能明白所閱讀英語的內容時，他自然更有自信，更有信心去學習英語的閱讀、寫作、聽力及口語。
就像博士說的:父母可以一起引導小朋友去閱讀這些字卡,讓小朋友進而發現原來電視上所認識的字,在書本上也能看到,可以增加小朋友看書的興趣!

Your Baby Can Read! is an early language development system for infants and toddlers. Based on the research of Dr. Robert Titzer, the DVDs employ whole reading and some phonics to help babies learn language patterns during an optimal time when their brains are developing rapidly and are intensely focused on picking up language patterns.
According to Dr. Titzer, babies can learn the patterns of written language just as naturally and easily as they learn the patterns of spoken language. Often though, babies are not exposed to enough written language for this learning to occur.
The Your Baby Can Read! system contains five DVDs which are focused on helping babies and kids up to five years old learn to read by giving them a multi-sensory experience with heavy exposure to print.
Your Baby Can Read! - Curriculum
Your Baby Can Read! DVDs are multi-sensory, meaning viewing children will learn through hearing, seeing, speaking, and moving. Kids are encouraged to learn through action as they clap, touch their ears, or raise their arms along with the babies and children on the screen. Children will also enjoy singing along with familiar songs and playing the word games at the end of each DVD
