Multiphysics
自然界存在四種場：位移（應力應變）場、電磁場、溫度場、流場。工程中使用的軟件可以進行這些場的單場分析。但是，自然界中這四個場之間是互相聯系的，現實世界不存在純粹的單場問題，我們所遇到的所有物理問題都是多場耦合的，只是受到硬件或軟件的限制，人為將它們分成單場現象，各自進行分析。有時這種分離是可以接受的，但許多問題這樣計算將得到錯誤結果。因此，在條件允許時，應該盡量進行多場耦合分析。現在硬件的發展已使多場耦合分析成為可能，主要的瓶頸在於軟件。
軟件能否進行多場耦合分析，有三個前提條件：
1． 軟件本身必須具有多種場的分析功能；
2． 各場的分析必須在統一的數據庫下進行；
3． 軟件必須提供多場耦合處理工具。

·網格隨移：在多物理場分析中，結構分析導致的變形必然導致流體分析或電磁分析的模型改變，網格隨移就是用來處理這種改變的工具，它讓流體或電磁的網格雖結構的變形而改變。
·流固界面單元：在流固耦合分析中，結構與流體數據交換需要通過此界面單元進行。
·多自由度單元：這種單元包含結構、熱、電磁的自由度，或包含熱與流體的自由度，使多場耦合分析更容易。
·機電轉換單元：機電耦合分析中，機械部件可以作為電路的一個元件來看待，這種轉換需要通過此單元來實現。
