MegaCAD是一套功能優良的計算機輔助設計軟件,該軟件由德國Megatech Software BMGH公司研制開發,MegaCAD提供中文界面、圖標菜單、鼠標操作、漢字提示;支持DOS、Windows、WindowsNT、LAN、UNIX及各種打印機、繪圖儀和顯示器等硬件,內存僅占640K,在所有286以上的微機上均可運行。 MegaCAD提供Meofig模塊,供用戶定義自己的熱鍵,MegaCAD所有命令都可以用熱鍵表示。MegaCAD提供47種尺寸標注方法,既可標注機械尺寸,又可標注建築圖紙尺寸。MegaCAD特別提供三維功能,可以有四種投影方式,可任意定義視角。利用MegaCAD的3D圖標,可以方便地生成軸側圖,還能為零件上色,共16種顏色可供選擇。 MegaCAD提供 宏 的功能,用戶無需編程,依舊能夠做圖庫,所見即所得,而且MegaCAD的宏用圖標表示,用戶可將已有圖形的全部或部分當成 宏 分門另類地加以保存,供隨時調用,表示 宏 的文件名可以有32個字長,足以表達零件的字特征。用MegaCAD提供的零件自動生成功能,可自動搜索本裝配圖所有零件並統計數量,以每個零件的數據庫中自動提取文字信息填入定義好的格式中。
MegaCAD被包括建築業、制造業、繪圖、造船業和土木工程等在內的多種行業的設計部門采用。
為了滿足公司客戶的實際需求，Megatech 希望MegaCAD具有以下功能：沿3D輪廓的圓角、變半徑圓角以及在一個模型中可以同時進行曲面造型和實體造型。

MegaCAD 3D is the ideal synthesis of an innovative solid
and surface modelling system and a full-feature 2D drafting program.
If you are developing your model in 3D or if you are drawing
a 2D design, each step will automatically be transferred from one
dimension into the other one.
In MegaCAD 3D, the user has a powerful solid modeling system.
In addition, any designs can be wholly or partly implemented in the
surface modeler. Because they share a common data structure, the two
forms of model can be combined. This makes it possible, for example, to
trim a solid object with a complex free-form surface, to give the solid
a new shape. Conversely, the surface of a solid body can be isolated as
a separate surface.
