Since the acquisition of Right Hemisphere by SAP the program Deep Exploration is available as SAP Visual Enterprise Author. The functionalities presented below remain unchanged until the new release of SAP VEA.
SAP VISUAL ENTERPRISE – VERSION 7 IS THE END-USER APPLICATION THAT DRIVES THE CREATION OF CONTENT FOR DISTRIBUTION INTO THE VISUAL ENTERPRISE.
With Deep Exploration, users can make the most of disparate product data available in CAD, PLM, MES and ERP systems to deliver tailored and intelligent product information into commonly used business documents, file formats, and business applications for secure downstream use anytime, anywhere.
Overview.
With Deep Exploration, existing CAD models are transformed into ultra-lightweight files ready to use in the authoring and publishing of 2D and 3D product graphics, a wide variety of documents, procedures and training curriculum. All these capabilities are supported from a single CAD model utilized within Deep Exploration. Now you can get the most from your investment in CAD design by leveraging the content throughout the Product Lifecycle – from Engineering to Manufacturing, throughout Service and Support, even Marketing and Sales can make use of the content without knowing or licensing CAD tools. Today, design engineering teams are utilizing 2D and 3D CAD applications in combination with Product Data Management systems, simulation programs and a variety of analysis tools to support complex product design modeling, reduce prototype requirements, bring products to market sooner and improve product quality. Unfortunately, this highly valuable product information asset rarely sees its way to other functional areas of the business – instead, it stays locked in engineering systems.
