內容簡介
本教材具有如下特點：
　　1.面向廣大高職高專學生，以能力培養為本位，以訓練為手段。每個單元分為幾個訓練模塊，如句子主干訓練、意群訓練、不回視訓練等。每個訓練模塊訓練目標明確，將普通英語中的閱讀方法貫穿於專業英語的教學申，有針對性地加以訓練，使讀者切實地掌握科技英語的閱讀技巧，提高科技英語的閱讀能力。
　　2.本教材取材新穎，難度適中，多數選材來源於英文網站和英文資料的原版文章，力求包含計算機專業的基本專業詞匯和最新專業知識。
　　3.文中生詞的注釋不像以往放在文章結束的地方，而是標在正文的一側，以便讀者查閱。
　　4.每個單元的結尾還增加了構詞法，幫助讀者掌握最常用的構詞法，使讀者能夠通過一詞掌握多詞，迅速擴充詞匯量。
　　5.書後附有縮略詞表，方便讀者查閱。
