盡管《FIFA 11》獲得了評論界的巨大好評，但EA加拿大制作人David Rutter表示工作室在對待系列新作時不會依賴前作的殊榮。
制作人向Playtation英國官方雜志最新一期透露，EA對這款新作的改進有一個詳細的清單-其中一些特定方面工作室已經在開發。“我認為我們在《FIFA 11》裡創作的個性+(Personality Plus)系統做得很棒，”他說道，“但小隊的AI不能完全匹配這一系統。”
David Rutter同時還表示定位球將做大幅改進，以及取消其中的載入畫面。“定位球仍然很蹩腳，”他坦率地說道。“我對不能快速發界外球，快速選擇接任意球的球員感到無奈。”David Rutter稱工作室將為此投入更多的真摯情感在這款新作。

  2. Burn or mount the image.
  3. Install the game. Redistributables as needed in __Installer
     dir afterwards.
  4. Copy over the cracked content from the Crack dir on the disc to your
     Game dir.
  5. Play the game. Video config is in Gamefifasetupfifasetup.exe.
  
  As usual we recommend firewalling the main executable, not using Origin, and
  avoiding EA.
