開發商11 Bit Studios在GDC 2011公開科幻 塔防 新作《Anomaly ：Warzone Earth》，游戲將透過Steam來販售PC版，並且會在iPhone和iPad上售出。
為一款 塔防 類型的游戲，但玩家擔任的是攻擊方。 玩家將操控一部裝甲車，滲透並破壞占領地球的邪惡外星人勢力。
游戲背景設定在不久的將來，充滿敵意的外星人來到了地球，並且占領了巴格達與東京。 邪惡的生物在城市間建立各種威脅人類生命的炮塔和武器，玩家必須指揮一個小隊進行消滅外星人的任務。
融合了回合制與即時戰略兩大特色。 當你啟動地圖模式，你可以策劃小隊前進各城市的路線。 一旦你選擇了路線，游戲將進入即時模式，你將可以操控指揮官協助AI 的坦克與載具，進行空中轟炸、維修、引誘或是投入煙霧等動作。 游戲內還加入了買賣功能，在戰斗中獲取金錢後，可以對自己的小隊提升裝備。 另外每種裝甲車都有不同的特性，例如重裝甲履帶車可以抵擋大量的攻擊，但是移動速度將會相對的降低；而敵人的單位也有不同的特色，玩家必須了解其中的差異來進行有效的攻擊。

Anomaly Warzone Earth is an extraordinary mixture of action and strategy
in a reversed tower defense formula. The game tasks you with saving a
near-future Earth from an alien onslaught. The invaders have captured
world's major cities, building huge turrets that destroy everything in
their path. It's up to you to lead an armor squad through the streets of
cities like Baghdad and Tokyo, planning the route and strategically
choosing which units to deploy in order to crush the opposition. Take
control of the Commander, whose special abilities and quick thinking will
be vital in supporting the squad in its mission, as you engage in
fast-paced, tactical battle across story campaign and two heart-pounding
