　　《破壞者》設定在第二次世界大戰時期納粹占領下的巴黎城。玩家在游戲中扮演一名對納粹充滿仇恨的賽車手，在英法兩國情報及反抗軍組織的協助下，從事各式反抗納粹的行動。[2]玩家需要憑借自己的努力，通過給納粹措手不及的打擊，激揚巴黎市民的斗志，讓城市重現曙光和希望。
　　《破壞者》和《龍騰世紀》（Dragon Age）就如2008年《死亡空間》和《鏡之邊緣》的組合，是美國藝電在2009年推出的一組重要的新系列游戲。
