《要塞3》的開發商Firefly工作室宣布，將於5月25日發布《要塞3黃金版》，登陸PC和Mac平台。
黃金版將包含新的Blackstaff單人戰役關卡、之前只能通過特別版獲得的12個根據歷史改編的攻城事件、3個核心戰役、4個多人游戲模式（包括新的“加冕”模式）和一個免費版沙盒模式。
已經擁有《要塞3》的玩家，或在5月25日前購買游戲的玩家可以通過Steam自動把手頭的游戲升級為黃金版。在25日過後購買標准版游戲的玩家可以通過擴展內容形式單獨購買Blackstaff戰役關卡。下面是黃金版的游戲截圖。

Bigger than ever before, the world’s favorite castle sim now contains 3 core campaigns (including the new Blackstaff Campaign), 4 multiplayer modes (including the new Coronation mode), a free build sandbox mode and 12 historical sieges.

  2. Burn or mount the image.
  3. Install the game to the dir where Stronghold 3 is installed.
  4. Copy over the cracked content from /Crack dir on disc to 
     \bin\win32_release dir.
  5. Play the game.
