在聖地亞哥動漫展2008上，《波斯王子》的制作人Jordan Mechner曾表示自己正在制作一款經典游戲《空手道（Karateka）》的新作。現在懷舊經典作《空手道》本周登陸XBLA平台，PSN和PC平台的發布日期會稍微晚一點。iOS版本的上市日期暫不明確。游戲內容描述為暴力，在此款格斗游戲中，玩家將扮演三名日本武士，從魔王手中救出被困的公主。
