《Demon Entrails》中介紹Hellhammer，這支來自瑞士的極具影響力的極端金屬樂隊，1982年到1984年間活躍在金屬舞台上。他們被認為是影響黑金屬的關鍵樂隊，同時也是死亡金屬的奠基者之一。1984年，樂隊解散後，其中的兩名成員組建了Celtic Frost樂隊。
《Demon Entrails》這張合輯包括了樂隊三張demo，分別是《Death Fiend》、《Triumph of Death》和《Satanic Rites》，全都錄制於1983年間，重新灌制之後發行了這張合輯。CD1是demo《Satanic Rites》，CD2是《Triumph of Death (tracks 1-13)》和《Death Fiend (tracks 14-17)》。
