據國外媒體報道，Intel發布了Intel Parallel Studio 1.0，這是一款為Visual Studio開發者准備的商業版C++編程套裝，通過它可以開發出能夠發揮多核處理器優勢的並行Windows程序。到目前為止，Parallel Studio中的單獨組件已經發布了測試版包括Parallel Composer、Parallel Inspector、Parallel Amplifier這些組件可以分別進行程序的編寫調試、驗證和優化。同時，Intel宣布另一款叫做Parallel Advisor Lite的工具發布了技術預覽版，可以免費下載，它可以作為並行程序設計中的輔助工具。
Parallel Advisor是我們對開發者提供支持的另一個法寶，Intel公司的James Reinder說道。它可以告訴開發者哪些順序代碼可以並行執行。不過Reinder也強調Parallel Advisor並不是自動生成並行代碼的靈丹妙藥，它只是幫助開發者對順序程序進行分析，從而幫助開發者決定在哪裡引入並行機制，而且可以檢查出將順序代碼轉化為並行代碼時發生的數據沖突。Parallel Advisor將於今年底進行商業發售，成為Parallel Studio的一部分。
Parallel Studio有如下功能：
Parallel Composer包含了C/C++編譯器、庫（比如Intel的Threaded Building Blocks和Integrated Performance Primitives），支持C++ OX lamda函數，它可以作為Visual Studio調試器的擴展，來對多線程順序和並行程序進行調試。支持OpenMP。
Parallel Inspector可以用來檢測內存錯誤（內存溢出和內存破壞）和線程錯誤（死鎖以及數據競爭錯誤）
