Maxwell Render 是一款可以不依附其他三維軟件可以獨立運行的渲染軟件，采用了光譜的計算原理，打破了長久以來光能傳遞等渲染技術，使結果更逼真。

We are pleased to announce version 2 of Maxwell Render is now released.

In the run up to release we used this preview web site to reveal some of the improvements and new features coming in v2. For a while after launch of v2 we´ll keep this preview site alive so you can continue to see the comparisons we were making pre-release.

The first information we revealed showed examples of improvements in Speed and Noise reduction, with 2x to 5x factors possible, sometimes more. We also revealed significant improvements in a number of areas of Quality, and new Workflow enhancements, including a new Modo plug-in and compatibility with our own RealFlow software.

We also created a section called "And much more" to highlight more specific additions in v2 including Stacked Layer materials, ThinSSS and IES support.
