這本第五版重點在光盤上，印刷版反而成了配角。證據如，collocation 的數據，印刷版收錄 65,000 筆，光盤上多給了 82,000 筆；Synonym 數據，印刷版收錄 18,000 筆，光盤多給 30,000 筆數據。光看這些，就足夠把印刷版的使用者全部趕到光盤上了。光盤部分，由原來的兩張 CD-ROM 變成一張 DVD-ROM。實質內容的增加，明顯可以感受得到。LDOCE5 的 front matter 更直接說明了
以兩片光盤容納辭典內容，除了 OED 之外，就是 LDOCE4v2。現在這一新版更擴而大之，用起 DVD-ROM 來了。如我之前說的，安裝後的數據容量，從 1.14GB 擴大到 2.31GB，大約相當四張 CD-ROM 的容量。
打開畫面，十二個功能如棋盤狀展開。Guided Tour 有 58段動畫介紹，我強烈建議使用者先全部看過。因為整套軟件的功能大致都有不錯的解說。這個開啟畫面，每次啟動軟件都要在此停留，還真有點累贅。點選左上 角 Dictionary 即可進入辭典.







說明:7月1日2時首發，因未破解故以版權為由刪除，這只為拋磚引玉，現已有補丁所以再發。


破解方法：
用虛擬光驅加載打開原鏡像點擊setup.exe安裝後，將原朗文5安裝目錄LDOCE5下的ldoce5.exe重命名為ldoce5.exe.bk,再將ldoce5.exe.crack.rar解壓得到的ldoce5.exe復制到朗文5安裝目錄LDOCE5下即可。
(或將補丁ldoce5.exe覆蓋原ldoce5.exe也可)
